it's been a long while since I ate some good restaurant food (ok excluding the lovely buffet lunch at Burj Al Arab..the previous one was the Japanese buffet at Rotterdam!)

thanks to khailin's last minute.com link, we snagged a place at Brasserie Roux, a French restaurant in Sofitel Hotel

choosing the starters and mains, I got duck and pistachio (that looks like luncheon meat!) and panfried wild fillet trout mm! i was quite shocked when I walked in and said I had a reservation and the woman said, "Oh yes Miss Lynn.." Thumbs up service!

Anyway the lunch was supposed have 7 of us, Alison, Ashraf, Hongmin, Joyce, Kenneth and Pat but Hongmin pangsehed!that silly girl off-ed her phone for 2 days and didn't receive my msg :x and Ashraf had to meet his econs tutor!

about the weather, it is getting warmer these days and when I walk to the gym, I see people in the garden having picnics and mugging sessions! Will probably not be able to mug in that lovely surroundings so I shall wait till the end of exams to have a picnic :)
